Mr. Schaffer is the President and Chairmen of the Board of Directors for Empire Sports & Entertainment, Inc. He founded the company at the age of 22 while finishing his studies at The Ohio State University.
Alex oversees all strategic initiatives of the subsidiaries of Empire Sports & Entertainment. For the subsidiary TicketIntel, Alex works directly with our business partnerships and initiatives of our proprietary software applications. Under Empire Sports & Entertainment, Alex oversees the strategic partnerships and growth of the company in the sector of full circle development, management, analysis and execution of corporate entertainment for tickets, travel and hospitality namely with the sports travel and hospitality management. For the corporate meetings and events side, Alex establishes the goals and long-term strategy for our business meeting planning and corporate event management services.
Alex developed both subsidiaries of Empire Sports & Entertainment to vertically integrate the supply chain between primary properties and the end consumers by leveraging software and data analytics to provide efficiency and growth for both the properties and the end consumers.
He studied at the University of Texas at Austin while a member of the Men's Swimming Team that was crowned NCAA Champions in 2010 and transferred to The Ohio State University where he earned his degree in Economics. A native of Columbus, Ohio, Alex graduated from Saint Charles Preparatory School while earning 8-time All-American honors on the swim team. He is very active as a donor and coach for the swim team.
